Trimble Hot Springs - Boss
Providence will provide. After Leaving the Sports Club, I looked around the country and finally settled back into the perfect Job in Durango, managing Trimble Hot Springs. I get to work with people. I have a great boss and it keeps me very busy. |

New House - New House Cat
They're both kind of small, but the love is supersized. Lucy is a tad on the independent side, but cute as the dickens, and I love her just the Same. |

Imogene 2000
Yet another year I find myself training for the Imogene Pass Run, hiking (not running mind you) 11 miles to the top of a 13,000 foot peak and descending 7 more miles to the finish. This is my 7th year, and it may be the last for me. Of course, I say this every year. With three years in snow and rain and three years with sunny skies, this year will be the tie breaker. Then we'll see if next year will find Joan on the trail!

Relay For Life
Every year I like to volunteer my time, expressing my creativity in all sorts of different events! This year I found myself joining the planning committee for Relay for Life. Appointed as the Activities Director of an overnight relay, I naturally had to host a Pajama Contest. I always find the need to take part in anything I expect others to do. Besides, I love doing anything in my jammies! |

Snowdown 2000
The annual Snowdown Parade is another event I love planning. Each year Snowdown has many events. One of which is a light parade at night in the middle of winter with temperature dipping down below the 30's.
It seems the less you wear the better your chances are for winning. This last year we found ourselves on the front page of the Durango Herald with the caption "The Durango Sports Club freezing its sequins off". Making the costumes is one of the biggest challenges….pursuading people to "Freeze their sequins off" is another!
